During a recent interview with Tim Westwood, Diddy responded to the several disses sent his way by Lil Kim, and according to the music mogul, he never intended to hurt the Queen Bee by working with Nicki.

“I want to say I love Lil Kim, man,” said Diddy. “I’m sorry that she’s mad. I never would have thought that by me working with another artist that she would take it the wrong way. But if she’s taking it the wrong way it ain’t meant like that. Nicki never did anything to her.”

The Hip-Hop mogul also defended the Young Money rapper against some of the things Kim has been saying and claimed that Nicki has “never said anything negative about Kim.” He also went a little further and denied speculations that Minaj was trying to become Lil Kim.

“She ain’t trying to swagger-jack or say nothing negative about her,” he said. “I just think that Kim needs to just understand that Nicki as a whole has always been respectful of her and Nicki’s not trying to be her. I ain’t gonna make no apologies for working with Nicki Minaj. [She is] somebody that’s never said anything negative about Kim and just really has always, in my eyes, paid homage to Kim. She’s a different MC. They don’t even talk about the same thing.”

“Kim is gonna be a MC and MCs when they come back out a lot of times they like to talk crazy and do what they do. At the end of the day, everybody respects Lil Kim for being the Queen Bee. We riding with Nicki and we still riding with Kim. We love and respect the days and the history we’ve had with Lil Kim. It ain’t no beef.”

Kim is currently on a promotional tour throughout North America and she shows no signs of letting up with the Nicki Minaj disses. While many are inclined to believe that this is just a ploy by Kim to drum up some attention to her forthcoming project, during several interviews she seems to imply that she felt she was disrespected by Nicki at some point during their budding relationship.
