It appears as though Chris Brown has followed after Kid Cudi and Miley Cyrus and deleted his Twitter page.
Brown’s last tweet under the name @MechanicalDummy was on Monday (Dec. 14). “I WANNA THANK MY FANS FOR ALL THE SUPPORT. I LOVE YALL. GOODBYE!!!!!!!!!!!!” he said in his final entry.
The 20-year-old pop star had used Twitter to communicate with his supporters and recently expressed his frustrations. Over the weekend, he tweeted about a Walmart in Wallingford, Conn., that did not have his new album Graffiti, but had Alicia Keys’ The Element of Freedom stocked prior to its Tuesday release.
“I’m tired of this s—,” he wrote. “Major stores are blackballing my CD. Not stockin the shelves and lying to customers. What the f— do I gotta do…”
Walmart released a statement to People in response to the claim, saying,
“We are surprised at the comments online. All Walmart stores nationwide have carried the CD since its release, including theWallingford store mentioned in the post. This store actually sold through its initial shipment over the weekend. The majority of our stores today are showing they do have copies available.”
Chris Brown’s Twitter account had over 172,000 followers at the time of deletion.
