Busta Rhymes is concluding 2011 with another bit of big news: he’s signing with Cash Money Records.

The veteran MC confirmed the deal to MTV at the launch of Google Music Monday. “I’m extremely proud to be aligned with Cash Money,” he said on the red carpet. Busta also spoke on the unique nature of the deal, which includes a joint venture with Google Music.

“It’s an unbelievably groundbreaking deal, [there’s] never been a deal done like this before, where the most powerful search engine in the world combines with the most powerful record company in the world,” he said.
