As many of you know, Bun B has been teaching a Religion and Hip Hop Culture class at Rice University, and Ozone Magazine was on hand for a recent panel discussion at the university. Bun B, along with Lupe Fiasco, Talib Kweli, Malice of the Clipse, Trae Tha Truth and Tre9, took questions from students and teachers on various topics about the hip hop and urban community. In the video posted below, Bun B and Lupe share their views on whether or not rappers are role models, and in an additional video, Bun also speaks on parenting. We commend Bun B on what he’s doing at Rice University, which is also pushing the culture of hip-hop to new heights of education and academics.
