Marion “Suge” Knight has been taken into custody and is being questioned by Los Angeles police investigators.

Knight was detained after he was pulled over in a white Cadillac Escalade near 147th Street and Crenshaw Boulevard in Gardena shortly after midnight Thursday.

Police haven’t disclosed why the 45-year-old co-founder of Death Row Record was stopped and taken to the police station.

However, police said in March they were looking for the 45-year-old Knight after a rapper accused him of robbery outside a supermarket.

Jerold Ellis, who uses the name Yukmouth, initially accused Knight of having 10 men take his jewelry outside a Los Angeles store. He later recanted the story.

A call to Knight’s attorney, Marc Brumer, was not immediately returned.
