After baring it all for Playboy, Azealia Banks covers up for Billboard. The “Ice Princess” graces the cover of the magazine wearing a sequined blue dress.
“I’m not here to be your idol,” says the unapologetic Banks.
In the interview, she admits that she has a crush on President Obama.
“He’s so fine. Those big-ass white teeth and ears hanging off his head? I’m like, ‘Oh my god, I want to f**k the president.’”
She also has a thing for bodyguards.
“I love security guards. They’re these big meathead bald white guys with blue eyes,” says Banks, who’s still searching for Mr. Right.
“I want a really smart man, who has a lot of silly jokes and stuff. I have to tone it down if I want to get that,” she admits.
And she also wants respect.
“Celebrities are celebrated, and I don’t think I’m celebrated,” she says. “But maybe one day. It would be nice. I just don’t want to be forgotten about while I’m still alive.”
In the meantime, she’s penning what she calls her passion project, a fable based on herself.
“I work during witching hours, 3 a.m., 4 a.m., when the dead writers, the failed writers and the failed musicians who are dead are roaming around.”
She will play Coachella later this month before heading out on her own tour.
