Five years after rhyming about having her own Giuseppe Zanotti sneaker on “Pound the Alarm,” Nicki Minaj is singing a different tune.

On Friday (Feb. 3), the superstar rapper unleashed a series of tweets aimed at the shoe designer, accusing him of racism and disrespect, among other things.

“This is wonderful,” she tweeted. “#GiuseppeZanotti seems to think it’s ok to name his sneakers after me but his PR says they won’t take our call. Lol…I met #GiuseppeZanotti years ago. At which time, he told me I inspired him to design a sneaker in my honor. Wore them on the cover of Cosmo.”

Nicki also wore Zanotti kicks, which Meek Mill recently roasted, in the 2013 music video for Ciara’s “I’m Out.” But now, Minaj says she’s insulted by the way Giuseppe’s ignored her phone calls, particularly as he links up with other artists, like Jennifer Lopez.

“Recently when he gave other artists capsule collections, my agency reached out and was told they’re not taking our call,” she added. “Just go on google, you’ll see all the different pairs he’s named after me. Lil black girl can inspire u but ain’t worth a collection my n*g?”

Nicki then shared a similar sentiment on Instagram, attaching a screenshot of “Nicki” sneakers by Zanotti on sale online.

At one point during her tweet storm, Nicki also joked about a potential fight with Giuseppe a la Chris Brown and Soulja Boy. “Tell Floyd, Fif & Mike Tyson to book me for the next fight,” she tweeted. “Me and Giuseppe. after cb & Draco.”

But after coining #RunMeMyCheck and #RunMeMyMufknCHECKmyNIG, Nicki said her tweets weren’t actually about financial issues.

“Don’t care about the money,” she wrote. “It’s just the disrespect. You’re not taking MY call? Lol. Give some money to charity in my name or smthn…I got time today. barbz trend this cuz he gon learn today. The racism & disrespect won’t b tolerated.”
