Meek Mill gets in “Formation” and a taste of freedom.
On Sunday (Jun. 5), a judge allowed the Maybach Music Group rapper, who’s been on house arrest since March, to attend and perform at Beyoncé’s “Formation World Tour” stop in Philadelphia.
Attending the hometown show with his girlfriend Nicki Minaj by his side, Meek joined DJ Khaled and Rick Ross on stage during the show’s opening set to perform “All Eyes On You” and “Ima Boss.” He also caught up with his Roc Nation boss Jay Z backstage.
Mill was scheduled to be off house arrest last week, however, his sentence was extended because the Dreamchasers MC didn’t follow directions regarding community service. He earned another eight days under house arrest as a penalty, and his case will be reevaluated.
However, the “Formation” appearance wasn’t his only out-of-the-house activity this weekend. Meek and Nicki also attended The Roots Picnic on Saturday (Jun. 4), where they posed with performer DMX.
