Rapper Juvenile was arrested on marijuana possession charges after a police raid on Thursday. The hip-hop star, real name Terius Gray, was at a friend’s home in Arabi, Louisiana when cops arrived to investigate a call from a neighbor who smelled smoke.

Gray’s producer Leroy Edwards answered the door and was handcuffed after authorities allegedly found marijuana on him, Steve Cannizzaro of the St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office tells WDSU.com.

A search of the house later uncovered more marijuana in the kitchen, which the Slow Motion hit-maker allegedly admitted was his. He and Edwards were then arrested and taken into custody, before posting a bail bond.

The 34 year old, who was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana, is believed to have been recording a new album at the property, which belongs to an unidentified friend.

According to reports, the producer who answered the door didn’t cooperate with authorites, which led to them obtaining a search warrant and finding a half an ounce of marijuana in the kitchen.

Juvenile said the drugs were his, and he and the producers were arrested. Both have posted bond.
