After appearing on the special True Hollywood Stories: Rapper Wives, which also featured the wives of rappers Snoop Dogg, DMX, Mos Def, and Uncle Luke, it inspired Houston, Texas rapper Paul Wall and his wife Crystal Slayton to launch their own reality show which hasn’t received a title or a release date. The show will feature Paul Wall and his life as a father and a rapper.

Crystal Slayton revealed that the show will feature the family side of Paul Wall’s hectic life and the laid back person that he really is aside from the rapping side that everyone else sees.

“People automatically think a rapper is involved with drugs and hoes – anything negative – so automatically, they assume that a rapper’s wife is gonna be some kind of hoodrat, the show is gonna expose the good, bad and the ugly, and also that the stereotypical idea of what a rapper’s wife would be is not necessarily the truth.”

In other news, Paul Wall and former Color Changin’ Click (CCC) group member Chamillionaire are scheduled to perform together at the SXSW music, media, and film festival in Austin, Texas next month on the 17. Paul Wall is also in the works of recording new material for his upcoming fifth solo album titled Heart Of A Champion.
