Another pop superstar is calling on R. Kelly. Hot on the heels of his collaborations with Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga, the R&B icon has recorded a song with Justin Bieber.
Kellz announced the collaboration in an interview with VIBE.
“I just did a song [with him],” he said. “[Justin] just called me to do a song and it’s hot. He wanted to do some R&B stuff so we got together and did that.”
Bieber confirmed the track was coming by tweeting, “next week.”
The song will likely be the seventh release in Bieber’s
“#MusicMondays” series following tracks like “All Bad” and “Bad Day.”
Bieber also teased an upcoming collaboration with Drake, tweeting,
“@Drake They aren’t ready.”
R. Kelly is gearing up for the release of his own album Black Panties, due Dec. 10.
