New Music: Beyoncé – “On the Run” (Solo Version)

The love story continues, a decade later. A follow-up to the couple’s 2003 hit single “Bonnie & Clyde,” Beyoncé and Jay-Z have teamed up for “On the Run” which drops this Thursday. ”Part II (On the Run),” a track from the superstar couple off H.O.V.A.’s latest album, Magna Carta… Holy Grail, was leaked online on Independence Day– July 4.

While on her current global tour entitled called Mrs. Carter, a solo version featuring Queen Bey of the single is on the Internet. The couple is no doubt still Dangerously in Love.

“Who wants that perfect love story anyway anyway/ Cliché, cliché, cliché,” Beyoncé croons. “Who wants that hero love that saves the day anyway/ Cliché, cliché, cliché.”

“I don’t care if we on the run, baby/ As long I’m next to you,” she continues, belting out her devotion to her husband. “I will hold your heart and your gun, I don’t care if they come. And if loving you had a price, I would pay my life for you.”
