VH1 has renewed “Single Ladies” for a second season. So expect to see a lot more of Stacey Dash, LisaRaye and Charity Shea galavanting through Atlanta’s social scene.
The network’s first hour-long scripted series debuted in May to solid ratings, so it’s no wonder
Executive producer Queen Latifah said,
“My partner Shakim and I are so excited that Single Ladies has been received so well. We knew from the beginning this show was going to appeal to people everywhere; it’s funny, sexy and smart. We are so happy that we were able to join with VH1 to find such a great home for this incredible show.”
The finale of the first season of Single Ladies airs Aug. 8. And a second season will begin filming in late 2011 and air in 2012.
