Musical guest Jay-Z will join host Betty White on this weekend’s “Saturday Night Live,” and those hoping for a collaboration between the two might just get their wish.

“We thought, ‘This is an interesting mix,’” executive producer Lorne Michaels told Entertainment Weekly about booking the odd couple for “SNL,” before hinting of a possible sketch involving the rapper and 88-year-old actress. “Jay-Z was excited about the idea of working with Betty White—further proof that her influence is pervasive and enormous.”

As it turns out, White is also a fan of the Brooklyn MC.

“I’m thrilled to meet him. I was thrilled to hear that he’s going to be on the show because he’s the hottest thing since sliced bread. I will certainly enjoy him. I hope that we get along well,” she told reporters.
