After packing venues overseas, 50 Cent is bringing his roadshow to the U.S. later this spring with an intimate 19-city tour.
“The Invitation” tour will kick off May 28 in Cleveland and wrap June 25 in Atlantic City. The rap superstar will perform new and old material from his expansive catalog of albums, including last year’s Before I Self Destruct.
50 has already started recording his fifth studio effort Black Magic, on which he explores a new sound. “It’s a different type of vibe,” he said. “I just wanna create something that’s outta the box.”
Touring won’t be the only journey Curtis Jackson will be taking this year. The music mogul has partnered with VH1 for a new documentary called “50’s Roots” where he makes an unprecedented trek to the Deep South in search of his family’s slave lineage. He’ll reunite with living family members and connect the dots on his ancestral heritage.
