Tyler, the Creator is taking the charts hostage once again. The Odd Future mastermind earns the biggest debut of his career with his third album Wolf.

Despite no radio support, the project opens at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, selling 89,000 copies in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

The independent release features appearances from Frank Ocean, Erykah Badu, and Pharrell. It was supported by TV appearances on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” and “The Late Show with David Letterman.”

Tyler was happy with the numbers.

“NUMBER 3!!! HELL YEAH IM STOKED AS FUCK,” he wrote. “THIS IS SOII SOCK NO RADIO NO TV NOT MUCH AND STILL PULLED THIS, SERIOUSLY THANKSNTO EVERYONE THAT COPPED.”

Wolf nearly doubled the sales of his previous album, 2011’s Goblin, which debuted at No. 5 with 45,000.

Meanwhile, Justin Timberlake’s 20/20 Experience tops the chart for a third consecutive week, selling another 139,000. The album’s total now stands at 1.43 million.
