TLC received a royal welcome at Saturday’s MOBO Awards in the U.K. The surviving members of the R&B trio, Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas, were on hand to accept the award for “Outstanding Contribution” and introduced British girl group Stooshe, who performed their classic “Waterfalls.” The late Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes was also represented by her brother and sister.
“It’s been so many years since we’ve been here and to come back after all these years and receive so much love, it’s just outstanding and it just makes us feel really happy and even more excited to create new music,” Chilli told Link Up TV on the red carpet.
The ladies have been working on a new album, tour, and made-for-TV movie series for VH1. T-Boz is also set to star in a reality show for TLC next year.
