After winning “Best Newcomer” at the MOBO Awards and officially releasing her new single “Shine Ya Light,” the 21-year-old singer performed on “The X Factor” U.K., sharing the bill with No Doubt. During Sunday’s taping, she finally met Gwen Stefani, who she has admired her entire life.

After snapping a photo with her blonde idol, she reflected on the surreal experience.

“I woke up this morning thinking wow I actually met the person I looked up to all my life. Have u guys ever met the people who inspired you?” tweeted Rita.
