Rihanna’s former personal trainer has filed a lawsuit against the singer over an unpaid bill. Cindy Percival is claiming that despite sending invoices to the pop star and her management she has yet to be paid for her services.
Percival’s attorney recently told E! News that the trainer adjusted to fit the needs of the singer, and then was unexpectedly and without explanation let go.
“She was made exclusively available to Rihanna and she essentially stopped seeing her other clients and devoted her time to being available to Rihanna whenever she wanted to be trained,” he said.
“[Then] her management got a hold of Cindy and informed her there would be no further need for her services; but in the meantime, Cindy had submitted invoices for payment and they weren’t honoring the invoices.”
The lawyer also revealed that they sent a demand letter to the singer’s management a month ago, but the letter they got back in response “essentially ignored the agreement.”
Percival is suing for about two weeks worth of sessions, which totals to a over $26,000. The amount also includes travel fees she claims she incurred after she had to follow the singer around the world.
In related news, Rihanna is reportedly hard at work on her next album, which is expected to be released this summer.
