Rick Ross appears to be taking doctor’s orders and slowing down. The “Hustlin’” rapper has postponed his Los Angeles show to 2012 following a medical emergency last week.
Rozay was scheduled to headline the “Tru 2 Music” concert at NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE on Sunday, October 23, with performers Busta Rhymes, Y.G., Eric Bellinger, and more. Due to health concerns, the promoters have decided to delay the event until January 13 to give Ross a chance to recuperate.
“We truly want Rick Ross to be at 110% so that he is able to offer fans a once in a life time show,” said Tru Royalty Entertainment in a statement. “His healthy recovery is our main concern and we have worked with management to insure the new date gives Rick Ross enough time to recoup.”
The Teflon Don, whose new album God Forgives, I Don’t is scheduled for release on December 13, canceled concerts in Memphis and Greensboro over the weekend, and recently postponed another show in Atlanta.
He was hospitalized after reportedly suffering two seizures during two separate flights. The planes made emergency landings and he received medical attention.
