Mastermind is coming this March. Rick Ross has announced a new release date for his sixth album.
The project will officially arrive on March 4, he revealed in a video teaser directed by Hype Williams (via REVOLT).
It was pushed back from December 17 so he could perfect it. “To me, making that classic is more important than anything, making sure the streets overwhelmed by what I’m doing,” Rozay told DJ Scream on SiriusXM’s Hip-Hop Nation.
The album has already spawned the Jay Z-assisted single “Devil Is a Lie” and “No Games” featuring Future. He has also collaborated with R&B legend Bobby Womack.
“I got in the studio with a few people just to do a lot of different things and it’s gonna be some dope shit,” he told Rap-Up TV.
Mastermind marks the follow-up to the Grammy-nominated God Forgives, I Don’t, which debuted at No. 1 in August 2012.
