Photos: Kanye West Proposes To Kim Kardashian & Gives Her a 15 Karat Engagement Ring

Kanye West swooped into San Francisco Monday night and proposed to Kim Kardashian on her 33rd birthday.

The rapper, 36,  popped the question to the mother of his child at AT&T Park, which was rented out for Kardashian’s big day, E! News reported early Tuesday morning.

Having received future mother-in-law Kris Jenner’s blessing, West reportedly proposed to Kardashian with a 15-carat diamond ring made by celebrity jeweler Lorraine Schwartz.

Maintaining the theatricality, West also arranged for the Jumbotron to read

“PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!” and a 50-piece orchestra to play Lana Del Rey’s “Young and Beautiful” and Keri Hilson, Ne-Yo and West’s “Knock You Down.”

Earlier in the night, West was reportedly a presenter at the 2013 Hollywood Film Festival, so his quick flight north to the City by the Bay added to the surprise of his proposal, E! reported.

“A match made in heaven!” Jenner told E! shortly after the engagement news broke. “I am so happy for both of my kids, Kim and Kanye.”

Kardashian’s younger sister, Khloe Kardashian, took to her Twitter account to express her happiness after the exciting night,

“Wow!!!!! Am I dreaming??!?!” she wrote.

“Tears of JOY!!!!!!! Wow!!!!!!”
