Hail to the queen. Beyoncé gets patriotic for Issue #16 of U.K. magazine BEAT.

Shot by Ryan McGinley in the Hamptons, the cover shows the “American fu**ing idol” by the shore, decked out in a red hoodie and red-and-white-striped swimsuit, while a giant American flag waves in the background.

Fresh from her Hamptons shoot, Beyoncé will headline the TIDAL X: 1020 concert at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Oct. 20. The all-star lineup also includes Jay Z, Prince, Nicki Minaj, Usher, Lil Wayne, and T.I.

The issue of BEAT hits newsstands Oct. 21.

Beyoncé is blowing minds with her red, white, and blue-themed shoot for BEAT. After revealing the cover last week, the magazine has shared additional images from the patriotic shoot, photographed by Ryan McGinley in the Hamptons. Queen Bey holds a chicken while draped in the American flag, rocks a rainbow-colored swimsuit, and sets off an explosion of fireworks in a pool of water.

She gave a brief interview to the magazine. When asked what Beyoncé era she’d dress as for Halloween, she replied, “Destiny’s Child Survivor era with the army fatigues. Or maybe ‘Bootylicious’ with the gold tooth and pink tips in my hair.”

During the Q&A, she also revealed what she sings in the shower (“Holy Ghost” by Kim Burrell), Netflix or chill? (Netflix and chill), last song that got stuck in her head (Fetty Wap’s “Jugg”), and what she puts on her pizza (Extra tomato sauce and jalapeños).
