Pharrell Williams and the Minions strike again. Shortly after debuting the video game-inspired “Yellow Light,” the hitmaker debuts a video for another Despicable Me 3 single, “There’s Something Special.”
Skateboard P is surrounded by animation once again in this video. Through kaleidoscope effects, he is multiplied onscreen with his trusted Minions beside him.
In between hilarious vignettes with the yellow creatures, movie scenes play throughout the clip. Essentially working as a trailer, the visual shows Gru and his various shenanigans.
“Yellow Light” and “There’s Something Special” are both cuts off the Despicable Me 3 soundtrack, which is due June 23, with classics from Michael Jackson, Madonna, and a-ha, as well as more original material from Skateboard P.
Despicable Me 3 hits theaters June 30. Watch a preview of the film in the “Something Special” visual below.
