Nelly and Kelly Rowland reunited on the sunny shores of Cancun, Mexico, today to shoot the video for “Gone,” the latest single from the St. Louis rapper’s 5.0 album. In the first two photos snapped on set, the labelmates pose on the sandy beach at night, Kelly in a low-cut, shimmering black dress and Nelly wearing a black button-down shirt.
Marc Klasfeld, who directed Nelly’s “Country Grammar” and Destiny’s Child’s “Lose My Breath” clips, is at the helm.
The duet, produced by Jim Jonsin and Rico Love, marks the follow-up to the labelmates’ 2002 smash “Dilemma.”
“It’s kinda like an extension of the story,” Nelly told Rap-Up, “and still playfully having fun with it like we did with the first one.”
