Nicole Scherzinger is back for another round. The former Pussycat Doll has announced “Your Love” as the title of her new single.
“Excited to finally tell all of u that my new single is called #YourLove! More info #comingsoon,” said Nicole.
The song will premiere on radio on May 29 and be released commercially on July 13.
Popjustice described the three-and-a-half-minute song as “a triumph,” adding,
“It doesn’t sound like any other hit songs, and it’s a ridiculously elegant single: precision-tooled for pop supremacy but sparsely produced and as a result rather more stylish than the smack round the head with a sack of spanners that was ‘Poison.’”
Earlier this week, she shot a video for “Your Love” on the beach in Malibu.
The former “X Factor” judge has signed with RCA Records in the U.K. and is working on her sophomore album, which is being produced entirely by The-Dream and Tricky Stewart.
“For the first time in my career I feel like this album is me, it’s real,” she said of the follow-up to her 2011 solo debut Killer Love. “It’s a very personal album for me. It is a reflection of the woman I am, the woman I am not, and the woman I want to be.”
