If you liked Nicki Minaj and Ciara’s collaboration “I’m Legit,” there’s more on the way. The two have collaborated on more records for Ciara’s upcoming album One Woman Army.
“I’ve been working with Ciara a lot. Actually I’m in the studio to finish up a couple things for her today,” Nicki told MTV News.
They may shoot a video for “I’m Legit,” which appeared on last year’s Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded – The Re-Up.
“She has this dope, dope, dope song. I can’t wait for the Barbz to hear it, so we might end up doing the record that I have with her as well,” said Nicki, who praised Ciara’s new material.
“People are gonna love her new album. I love it. I was supposed to only do one song for her album and I think I’m gonna end up doing two. I just love what she’s doing and I’m so proud and I’m really excited for people to hear it.”
As for Nicki, she hasn’t started recording her new album.
“I’ve started letting my brain be free from thinking about that,” she said. “I wanted to go back to the place where I was when I was recording my first album. I was just doing features and enjoying music.”
She is in no rush to release it.
“I’m going to give people quality and if it takes time, it takes time.”
In the meantime, you can expect to hear more features from her including another collaboration with Future.
“My features are just exciting me again and I have a lot more that people don’t even know about.”
