Nicki Minaj rocketed to the top of the charts this summer with her Pink Friday single “Super Bass,” and she attributes part of its success to Taylor Swift. In a new interview, the Harajuku Barbie thanked the country crooner and teased her upcoming album.

Billboard caught up with the blonde Barb at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas over the weekend.

“I want to publicly say again that Taylor Swift really launched that single into another stratosphere with just tweeting about it and rapping it and stuff, so thank you Taylor,”

Said Nicki, who performed the song with Swift in L.A. late last month.

“And she’s so cute and she’s like a big bowl of ice cream.”

A tight-lipped Nicki reiterated that her alter ego Roman will play a major role on her sophomore album.

“All I can say is that Roman will definitely be a humongous part of the follow-up to Pink Friday,” she revealed. “I can’t talk about anything else that has to do with the sophomore album. All I can say is that I’m working on it and the fans are gonna get their life and then some.”
