Don’t stop believing. Pusha T and Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo team up for the inspirational “Too Young” off Zeds Dead’s upcoming album Northern Lights.

Over a rock and electronic smash with a hip-hop bop, Pusha T rhymes about beating the odds and leading the way.

“We grew up on fairy tales,” he raps. “No wonder we’re dreamers / Rejection, know very well, they didn’t believe us / We made them believers / You thought you ain’t need us / How you gon’ stop us now? The youth are the leaders.”

Cuomo’s “don’t stop believing” chant during the hook only adds to the song’s motivational tilt (via Pitchfork).

Rivers is no stranger to hip-hop. Vic Mensa recently said that he’s also been in the lab with the Weezer frontman.

“I made a beat where I sampled a Weezer song and somehow, through Smoko Ono, I ended up in the studio with Rivers and he fucking loved it,” said Mensa. “He ended up putting vocals on it. After that, he sent me a track of him playing guitar singing. I had to flip that and make that another song.”

Meanwhile, “Too Young” is just the latest star-studded cut off Zeds Dead’s Northern Lights. The project, which features Diplo, Jadakiss, Styles P, and more, is set to drop Oct. 14.
