Following collaborations with Young Thug, Jeezy, and Yo Gotti, T.I. digs deep on his latest Dime Trap release, “The Amazing Mr. Fuck Up.”

The pensive song, featuring Victoria Monét, serves as a candid confession about the “challenges and transgressions” in his relationship with wife Tiny, who also appears on the artwork. Tip speaks to himself (“Mr. Fuck Up”) and admits to infidelity in his marriage. “Look how I went from kissin’ and lovin’ her to being just the ni**a that she suffer for,” he raps.

During an interview with Beats 1, he opened up about the song’s personal nature.

“[This is] the first time I musically addressed some of the challenges and transgressions that I have had as a husband,” he said. “I’ve always kind of shied away from even speaking on those types of topics in my music. I felt like this is a time where the music is dope. I just felt that I had to lay it out, I had to put my cards face up on the table.”

Tip’s 10th album Dime Trap arrives Oct. 5 featuring Thug, Jeezy, Teyana Taylor, Anderson .Paak, YFN Lucci, and Watch the Duck, plus narration from Dave Chappelle.

“I think it’s just important to point out just all the incredible attention to detail that was paid on this project, from artwork to visuals to photo shoots to everything,” said Tip.
