Nipsey Hussle’s still running “Marathon Mondays” and the latest example of that comes with “Mark My Words,” a new Rick Ross-assisted slapper.
Over thumping Jake One and Mike & Keys production, Nip raps about his paper and rising above ignorance.
“Cash out continuous,” he raps. “Mogul in the making, autonomous black businesses / Broken culture that we all lost ni**as in / Elevated innovation over ignorance.”
Renzel, who just released his “No U-Turns” video, joins Nip with more paper-related rhymes.
“My conversation is cash money,” raps Ross. “I fly private, rarely do I have luggage / Riding through the ghetto where I’m from, the kids love me.”
Nip’s been celebrating more than music lately. “Mark My Words” arrives nearly a month after he and Lauren London announced the birth of their baby boy Kross, who was born in August.
