Fresh off his starring role in Adele’s “Hello” video, Mack Wilds returns to kick it old school on his new single, “Love in the 90z.” The R&B crooner assembles a dream team of producers including Salaam Remi, Teddy Riley, Scott Storch, and James Poyser for the throwback joint inspired by his favorite era.
“Why don’t we fall in love like we did in the ’90s?” he sings. “When TLC wren’t too proud to beg / When that ni**a Keith made you sweat / Like when Jodeci sang ‘Forever My Lady.’”
“Love in the 90z” is the first offering from Mack’s full-length debut album, due in 2016 on Louder Than Life/Epic Records.
He can also be seen in VH1’s original movie, The Breaks, premiering Jan. 4.
