North Carolina’s J. Cole channels the cover art and name of Nas’ classic Illmatic with the new freestyle “Villematic,” backing up comparisons to Escobar. The track, which sees the Roc Nation recording artist going in over Kanye’s brand new “Devil in a New Dress,” comes only a few days after ‘Ye released the freebie to his own blog.

“That beat is incredible, shout to Yeezy. Much Love,” tweeted Cole.

“Villematic,” posted on his blog last night, could be the first in a mixtape that Cole suggest his might release, track by track, via his blog and his Twitter account.

“I’m in a zone. Fuck it. I’ma do a mixtape,” he wrote. No complaints, here.
