New Keys alert! It’s been nearly four years since we last heard from Alicia Keys, but the 15-time Grammy winner is back with her infectious new single “In Common.”
The mother of two, who will join “The Voice” as a coach this fall, switches up her sound this time around, teaming with Canadian producer Illangelo, who is responsible for hits like The Weeknd’s “The Hills” and Drake’s “Crew Love.”
Keys sets the sexy mood on the late-night burner, which finds her singing about an undeniable love.
“We got way too much in common since I’m being honest with you,” she sings over the Latin-flavored rhythm. “Who wants to love somebody like me? / You wanna love somebody like me? / If you could love somebody like me, you must be messed up too.”
She will perform her new single for the first time on “SNL” this weekend. Her sixth album, due later this summer, is a reflection of her “roots in NYC and hip-hop culture” and “who she is today as an activist, woman, and artist.”

The song is already a hit with Snoop Dogg, who was seen dancing to it on Instagram. Watch the D-O-Double-G get down to A. Keys.
