“We gon’ wake you up this morning one time,”

said Nelly during his visit to “Good Morning America” on Thursday. With his seventh album M.O. in stores this week, the St. Louis rapper took over the stage for the Fall Concert Series. He spoke about his latest project, which features collaborations with everyone from 2 Chainz to Florida Georgia Line.

“If you know me, all my projects have been very, very diverse, very, very versatile, and I owe that credit to my fans ’cause they allow me to do a various range of music,” said the new Cheerios pitchman. “It’s my method of operation, it’s where I’m from in the Show-Me State, and it’s me being who I am at all times.”

He was joined by T.I. for their Pharrell-produced collaboration “Rick James” and took it back with his classic “Hot in Herre.”
