In the wake of the not guilty verdict in the Trayvon Martin trial, artists are using their voices to protest. Following Young Jeezy’s “It’s a Cold World,” Raheem DeVaughn and Styles P come together on “Trigga Man” about “dream killer” George Zimmerman.
Raheem calls the acquitted Zimmerman a “murdering coward” and raises questions of the role race played in Trayvon’s death.
“Did you ever stop to think or was hatred on your mind?” asks Raheem.
Styles P delivers a thought-provoking verse.
“The world’s in a dark place because of the hatred towards a dark face,” he raps.
Listen to them rally against hate on the powerful collaboration.
