Jenny has the block on lock. Following “Same Girl” and “Girls,” Jennifer Lopez unleashes her French Montana-assisted single “I Luh Ya Papi,” which premiered on Power 106′s “New at 2″ show with Yesi Ortiz. J.Lo professes her love to her man on the Detail-produced song.
“I put it down for a brother like you, give it to you right in the car that’s you,” she sings.
She recently shot a video for the song in Miami with director Jessy Terrero. There are also two additional versions featuring Big Sean and Tyga.
Her upcoming 10th album marks a return to her roots. While she didn’t reveal a release date, she did say that she has to turn in the album by March 17.
“My roots are hip-hop, my roots are R&B, my roots are pop, my roots are Latin,” said J.Lo. “All that always comes out in my records. I’ve always found that when I follow my own heart, that’s when my music is the best. This album is right back to that for me.”
