Ciara and Future’s relationship may be a done deal, but their feelings about one another seem to still linger. In a newly-released track, Ciara sings to a man who will regret doing a good woman wrong. Could she be singing about her former fiance?

Is Ciara, 27 venting her emotions over her tumultuous relationship with rapperFuture, 31 on a new song? Lyrics from her new track “I Bet” seem to detail her breakup with her ex-fiance — could it be a revenge track against her former beau?

Future and Ciara are officially done for good. After a year-long engagement and welcoming a son together, Future Zahir, the couple split, unable to move past rumors of infidelity.

Ciara is moving on, however, recently getting the “N” tattoo on her left ring finger, a reference to Future’s real name, Nayvadius, lasered off. But it looks like she may be revisiting her relationship woes on a new single, released on Jan. 15.

In her new track “I Bet,” the songstress belts out lyrics from the perspective of an under-appreciated woman, now sure that her former beau will regret his decision as soon as he sees that she has moved on and is happy without him.

The words definitely seem to hearken back to her short-lived engagement and brief attempt at reconciliation with the rapper, which each failed amid rumors of cheating on Future’s part.

The R&B star sings, “You know that it hurts your pride / But you thought the grass was greener on the other side / I bet you start loving me / As soon as I start loving someone else / Somebody better than you.”

She even adds a suspiciously personal touch at the end, ad-libbing

“I regret that I’m singing this song, because I love you.”
