Big Sean stacks his paper on “Guap,” the first single from his sophomore album Hall of Fame: Memoirs of a Detroit Player, due December 18. The G.O.O.D. Music signee taunts his enemies and “hatin’ hos” with his success on the island-flavored song, produced by Key Wane (“Amen”) and Young Chop (“I Don’t Like”), with ad-libs from Kanye West.
“This to all of my enemies that see me getting guap right now/ See me getting guap right now/ Hell yeah, I won’t stop right now,” raps the Detroit MC over steel drums.
“As crazy as life is for me, sometimes I need a feel good song to escape to n just turn the fuck up on!” explained Sean. “This to anybody who had to work hard to get it! Anybody who grind non stop to shine!”
