New Music: Angel Haze – “Lofticries”

Angel Haze has been in the studio putting the finishing touches on her Universal Republic debut Dirty Gold. In the interim, she gives her fans a previously unreleased song to bump. On “Lofticries,” the Detroit-born Brooklynite delivers some poetic rhymes over a whimsical beat.

The track is a leftover from her 2012 Reservation EP.

“Those two songs didn’t make reservation, but you guys can have them now,” she tweeted.

But it’s not an indication of what’s to come.

“The album sounds waaaayyyy different in comparison to reservation. never would’ve thought,” said Angel.
