Montel Williams was issued a possession of drug paraphernalia citation Tuesday when TSA agents found him carrying a weed pipe through security at Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee.
The 54-year-old former talk show host says he uses marijuana to help ease the effects of his multiple sclerosis, which was diagnosed over 10 years ago. He is also very vocal in his advocacy for the legalization of medical marijuana, especially for those suffering with MS.
This isn’t the first time Williams experience something similar at an airport. About seven years ago he was stopped at a Detroit airport for the same reason.
Meanwhile, the TSA allowed Williams to continue on his journey but he had to pay $484 first.
Not that we advocate drugs but we do understand marijuana…for medical purposes. His supplier must have some good stuff if it can help ease MS
