Take one look at the cover of Wale’s new mixtape, More About Nothing, and you’ll find the rapper standing beside the cast of “Seinfield,” a show seemingly (you guessed it) about nothing. Though the D.C. native’s current project is a follow-up to his 2008 release, The Mixtape About Nothing, it does anything but lack substance.
The tape, which was mixed down by DJ Omega, features a cast of rap and singing acts such as Waka Flocka Flame, Wiz Khalifa, Daniel Merriweather, and Avery Storm. Producers Cool & Dre, Best Kept Secret, and Bassheads are just a few of the talents lending their beatmaking skills.
Still need a reason to download Wale’s 21-track creation? The rapper spins his own twist on openly-gay singer Sam Sparro’s tune “Black & Gold.” Now maybe all of those homophobic rumors can be laid to rest.
