Being a “Wild Boy” pays off. Machine Gun Kelly makes a splash on the Billboard 200 albums chart this week with his debut Lace Up.

The Cleveland rapper lands at No. 4 with 51,000 copies sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan. MGK’s loyal fan base and Bad Boy affiliation, as well as his singles “Wild Boy” and “Invincible,” helped propel him to a strong debut.

MGK seemed pleased with the numbers.

Lace Up debuted #4 overall on the Billboard charts (f**k yeah!),” he tweeted. “Look at the progress, ‘Wild Boy’ debuted at #98 earlier this year! Thank YOU.”

Another major debut comes from indie rapper Macklemore and producer Ryan Lewis, whose collaborative album The Heist sold 78,000 to snag the No. 2 spot.
