LL Cool J has assembled a legendary lineup for his next tour. Some of hip-hop’s greatest MCs will bless the stage during the “Kings of the Mic” tour.
Four of hip-hop’s most iconic acts are to hit the road together this summer. LL Cool J has announced the Kings of the Mic tour, on which he’ll be joined by fellow legends Ice Cube, Public Enemy and De La Soul, as well as DJ Z-Trip. This epic roadshow gets underway on May 23 in Tucson, Arizona, making stops in cities like San Francisco, Atlanta, Boston, New York and Houston, before wrapping up on July 5 in New Orleans at the Essence Music Festival. Tickets go on sale later this week.
The tour follows the release of LL’s 13th studio album, Authentic, which hits stores April 30 (not May 7, as previously reported).
