Lil Wayne is going down in the history books. The Young Money chief scores his 100th entry on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart this week.

Weezy crosses the threshold as a featured guest on French Montana’s single “Pop That,” which debuts at No. 57.

He is only the third artist and second rapper to achieve the remarkable feat since Billboard first started publishing the original R&B chart in 1942. Jay-Z still maintains the lead amongst rappers with 108 chart entries. However, Weezy and Hov both trail the legendary James Brown, who charted 111 times between 1956 and 1993.

The New Orleans rapper made his first appearance on the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart in May 1999 as a featured guest on Juvenile’s “Back That Thang Up.” On the Billboard Hot 100, which ranks all music genres, he holds the third-most entries (102) following the cast of “Glee” (203) and Elvis Presley (108).
