Now that she’s conquered Earth, Lady Gaga is exploring a whole new frontier. The singer will become the first artist to sing in outer space.
According to Us Weekly, Gaga is set to blast off in a Virgin Galactic spaceship and perform one song during the Zero G Colony high-tech musical festival in New Mexico in 2015.
She will be joined in space by her glam squad and will have to take special vocal lessons.
“She has to do a month of vocal training because of the atmosphere,” said a source.
Zero G Colony is a three-day high-tech festival set to take place at Spaceport America in New Mexico. Gaga’s performance in space will take place on the third day at dawn, six months after the first Virgin Galactic commercial flight.
“#GagaInSpace2015,” tweeted Gaga, who plans to reveal more details during her ARTPOP album launch in New York on Nov. 10.
In preparation for her historic trip into outer space, she has reportedly taken out a
“ridiculous life insurance policy.”
Her third album ARTPOP will arrive on planet Earth on Nov. 11.
