Meet Kanye West, the peacemaker. Nearly three years after his infamous 2013 scuffle with a cameraman at Los Angeles International Airport, Yeezy broke up a paparazzi fight at the same location on Friday (Feb. 19).
As the Life of Pablo MC was being interviewed yesterday, a paparazzo punched another cameraman in the face. Yeezus quickly intervened, coming between the scrap and hugging the man who threw the jab to calm him down.
Following the scuffle, Yeezy went on to answer more questions from the crowd of photographers. Will he have a third child?
“Perhaps.” Will Mark Zuckerberg give him money? “He might end up helping out.”
West’s encounters with the paparazzi haven’t always been positive. In 2014, after pleading no contest to misdemeanor battery of a cameraman named Danny Ramos, the G.O.O.D. Music boss was sentenced to two years of probation and anger management classes. The charges stemmed from a 2013 scuffle with the paparazzo, which was caught on camera.
