Are Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z taking the show on the road? According to reports, the pop superstar and hip-hop icon will team up for a stadium tour.
After their performances at DIRECTV’s pre-Super Bowl concert and the Grammys, the two will launch a 10-city stadium tour together, according to the New York Post.
During his sold-out show at the Hollywood Palladium following Sunday’s Grammys, Timberlake brought out Jay-Z and announced that he would return to L.A.’s Staples Center on an upcoming tour.
“I must confess, it’s been awhile. And for that, I apologize. It’s going to be a fun year. I hope to see all of your drunk faces when I come back on tour at the Staples Center,” he teased.
When asked by Ryan Seacrest about his touring plans, J.T. said,
“We’re definitely gonna go on tour. We’re still putting it together, but it’s gonna be a lot of fun,” while hinting that he would be joined by a special guest. “I don’t know how much I should say. It’s gonna be a lot of fun, I know that.”
Timberlake’s third album The 20/20 Experience is due March 19 featuring the Jay-Z-assisted single “Suit & Tie,” for which a video was recently shot in L.A.
