Jay-Z is going back to Brooklyn to ring in the new year. After christening the new Barclays Center with a series of performances, the hip-hop mogul will play a special concert with Coldplay on New Year’s Eve.
Jay-Z and the British band will co-headline the gig at the new home of the Brooklyn Nets, where Jay played eight sold-out shows last month.
Just two years ago, Jay-Z celebrated the new year with his friend Chris Martin and Coldplay at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. The show featured surprise appearances from Beyoncé, Kanye West, and John Mayer. Hov most recently performed with Coldplay at the Paralympic Games closing ceremony in London.
Tickets for the New Year’s Eve show go on sale November 17 at 10 a.m. EST.
