Jay Z’s television and film takeover continues.

After announcing two projects last week, Hova is set to produce an upcoming NBC drama about Nicholas “The Reaper” Irving, the first black special ops sniper in the U.S. Army.

Sterling K. Brown, who won an Emmy for “The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story,” is set to star as Irving in the six-hour miniseries, which is based on “The Reaper: Autobiography of One of the Deadliest Special Ops Snipers.”

The series, which will take a look inside the world of special ops, will start filming early next year, according to Page Six.

Irving is a particularly interesting figure due to his experience in the army. He reportedly tallied 33 kills during a four-month span in 2009.

This is another power move by Jay Z as part of his Weinstein Company partnership since TWC has the rights to Irving’s book. However, TWC and NBC have not commented on the series yet.

Last week, Hov announced a Lee Daniels-directed Richard Pryor biopic and a Spike TV criminal justice docuseries based on the life of Kalief Browder.
